1) Design Drawings (DD):
These
drawings are prepared by design consultants to show the project vision
and design intent. They help the client understand the overall concept
and appearance of the proposed project.
2)Tender Drawings (TD) / Issued For Tender (IFT):
Tender
Drawings are issued for bidding purposes. They define the project
scope, general quantities, layouts, and important specifications so that
contractors can prepare accurate tender prices.
3) Issued for Construction Drawings (IFC):
IFC
drawings are the final approved drawings issued by consultants to the
contractor for execution on site. These drawings are used as the
official reference during construction.
4) Shop Drawings (SD):
Shop
Drawings are prepared by the contractor, subcontractors, or suppliers
based on IFC drawings and site conditions. They provide detailed
installation and fabrication information and must be approved by
consultants before execution.
5) Coordination Drawings:
These
drawings are prepared by the contractor to integrate Architectural,
Structural, and MEP services. Their purpose is to avoid clashes and
ensure smooth coordination during construction
6) Redline Markup Drawings (RMD):
Redline
Markup Drawings record the changes and modifications made during site
execution. They show deviations from IFC or Shop Drawings and are used
to prepare As-Built Drawings.
7) As-Built Drawings (ABD):
As-Built
Drawings reflect the actual constructed condition of the project. They
show all changes carried out on site and must be verified and approved
by consultants.
8) Record Drawings:
Record
Drawings are the drawings verified by all stakeholders and singed by
consultant to be submitted at project handover. They serve as official
documentation for future reference and maintenance.
